HaysMac, has announced the acquisition of a specialist US tax team from Moore DM, as part of its continued commitment to overseas expansion and the development of its private wealth services.

The chartered accountancy and tax advisor group is joined by Moore DM’s Chris Baker, who serves as director. HaysMac said the wider team has deep experience in US tax compliance, assisting US individuals and high-net-worth clients living in the UK in meeting their US tax responsibilities and that they will continue to offer such individuals personalised and expert advice at every stage.

The firm said this acquisition will allow it to provide US tax return services directly from its London office, extending its abilities outside of the UK. 

It added that the move is an important step in HaysMac’s long-term international growth strategy, while strengthening its position in the private wealth market and enhancing the range of services available to clients.
