Kingsley Napley has announced the appointment of Paul Davidoff as a new private client partner to lead its international tax desk.

Davidoff has joined from New Quadrant Partners where he was a partner since 2018. This follows New Quadrant’s strategic refocus on UK Trust, Fiduciary and Family Office work.

He is a member of STEP and completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in “UK Tax for International Clients” with distinction.

Davidoff advises UK-based and international high net worth individuals, families, trustees and beneficiaries on tax, trusts and estate planning. He advises those leaving the UK on their tax affairs and those returning to or arriving in the UK, whether or not they are UK citizens and have assets here or overseas

James Ward, head of private client, said: “The evolving tax landscape for UK and international HNWs means we are seeing unprecedented demand for tax related advice and planning services. Paul’s expertise will be invaluable and I am delighted to welcome him to the firm.”

Davidoff added: “I am pleased to be joining such a vibrant and fast-growing practice. It has been a busy start already and I am looking forward to working with my colleagues across the firm and getting to know our clients, as the country heads into yet another period of change with the impending Autumn Budget less than three months away.”

In May, Kingsley Napley welcomed new partner Kiran Vasudeva to the private client team from JMW Solicitors.

It also announced the launch of its new trust corporation which allows the firm to manage trusteeships, executorships, deputyships, and attorneyships more efficiently and with greater protection for clients.
