Professional services firm Ballards has announced a leadership transition within its next-gen board programme.
Gina Gardner has stepped down from her role as chair in line with board rules following her recent promotion to associate director.
Taking on the position of chair is Megan Healey, who will lead the board into its next chapter of development.
Gardner said: “It has been a privilege to be chair of the next-gen board and witness the collaboration across our departments. We have gathered a significant amount of insightful feedback thus far, and I am delighted to have overseen a number of initiatives being developed already.
“I have no doubt this initiative will continue to broaden perspectives, equip individuals with valuable communication and leadership skills, and provide a platform to implement positive changes across the business.”
Healey added: “I am incredibly excited to take on the role of chair for the next-gen board. This programme is vital for developing the next generation of leaders at Ballards LLP, and I look forward to working with the team to continue its success and contribute to the firm’s ongoing development.”
The next-gen board is designed to provide emerging talent across all departments with the tools and expertise needed to excel in leadership roles.
The next-gen board is currently focused on developing more streamlined training processes and improving cross-departmental communication, initiatives that will play a key role in supporting Ballards’ continued growth and long-term success.
