EY has announced the promotion of Sophie Davies and Emma Harris to partner roles in its Leeds office, as the Big Four firm continues to invest in talent to meet client demand.

Davies, who has been with the firm for 13 years, has become a partner in the tax team. She has worked with clients across the region and internationally, and previously undertook a secondment in India. She will continue to specialise in tax accounting.

Meanwhile, Harris, who joined EY in 2012, has been promoted to partner in the corporate tax team. She has over a decade of experience in advising multinational businesses on compliance and reporting across a range of tax specialisms.

Kate Jarman, Leeds office managing partner at EY, said: “The appointment of two new partners reflects the ongoing investment in our regional business in Leeds, as we continue to strengthen the services we provide to our clients.

“Emma and Sophie are assets to our business and it is fantastic to see their hard work, dedication and achievements recognised through these well-deserved promotions.”
