Grant Thornton has announced the promotions of Sreekanth Gaddamanugu and Dylan Rees to partners in its audit practice.
Based in Birmingham, Gaddamanugu specialises in mid-market audit and will lead and grow the Birmingham Private Audit business, focusing on building a private capital audit team.
He has experience working with both large listed companies as well as growing mid-market businesses in both the UK and globally, with specific experience in India.
He also has an in-depth understanding of a range of sectors, with a particular focus on the automotive and manufacturing industries.
Rees leads audit engagements for a large variety of clients across Wales and the South West. Based in Cardiff, he works with a diverse range of clients within the mid-market, with a focus on private equity backed businesses.
Gaddamanugu said: “I’m looking forward to working with clients to discuss their growth ambitions, highlighting how high-quality can play a part in achieving them, providing them with valuable insights to help them achieve their overarching goals.
“A large part of my role will also be to drive further growth of our audit portfolio across our chosen markets, providing our talented team with opportunities for professional development. A core focus for me will be to continue fostering an inclusive environment for our team to grow, focusing on Grant Thornton’s culture of personal relationships and commitment to quality.”
Wendy Rusell, partner and head of audit at Grant Thornton UK LLP, added: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome both Sree and Dylan to our audit partner team. Both have shown a real commitment to high quality and client service at a time when we are really focussed on growth and so I have every confidence that they will make a fantastic contribution as partners in their local markets.
“Both also live and breathe the firm’s values, are inclusive and well respected by their teams. In that respect I know they will be great leaders of our audit practice going forward.”
