BK Plus has announced the promotion of David Hynes to audit partner at its High Wycombe office.

Hynes began his journey with the High Wycombe office over 15 years ago, initially joining for work experience. After qualifying, he returned as an audit senior and has since developed into a “respected leader”, running a team of 14 audit professionals.

According to BK Plus, Hynes’ promotion underscores the group’s strategy of investing in talent and supporting regional offices to deliver “exceptional services to SMEs”.

In his new role, he will be instrumental in driving the growth of the firm’s audit services in High Wycombe and beyond.

Gary Heywood, managing partner of High Wycombe, said: “I am delighted to confirm David’s promotion to audit partner. Over the years, David has built strong relationships with our clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their businesses and audit challenges.

“Calm under pressure and at the height of his technical expertise, David is perfectly positioned to lead and grow this important part of our business. His promotion is richly deserved, and we are excited to see him drive our audit services forward.”

Ed Hill, group managing partner, added: “Following our acquisition of Haines Watts High Wycombe in October, David was an individual we identified very quickly as a key asset to our business and someone we wanted to build around.

“Working closely with Chris Hession, our head of audit, we have seen David’s leadership potential and are confident he will thrive in this role. This is just one example of how we work with our local offices to identify individuals capable of becoming future leaders and ensure they are empowered to succeed.”
