Bishop Fleming has announced the appointment of Athene Lippiett as its latest senior accountancy manager, as the firm continues to grow its offices in Exeter and the South West.
Following another year of double-digit growth and revenue of over £43.1m, the firm is focusing on an “ambitious and sustainable” growth target across the Midlands and South West.
Lippiett, who is the co-founder of multimillion-pound company Southwestern Distillery near Padstow in Cornwall, will bring expertise and first-hand experience in business development and strategic planning to help clients streamline operations and drive growth.
Her background also spans industries including luxury goods, hospitality and professional services, specialising in creating tailored financial systems to improve oversight and strategic planning.
Lippiett said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Bishop Fleming at such an exciting time. My experience in scaling a family business into a multi-million-pound company has given me a deep understanding of the complexities of sustainable growth and strategic planning for owner-managed businesses.
“I’m eager to bring that insight to the team and help drive the next phase of growth, streamlining systems and supporting clients in navigating their own journeys. I can’t wait to get started.”
James Finnegan, partner and Exeter office lead at Bishop Fleming, added: “Athene brings a wealth of practical, hands-on experience in building and scaling a successful owner-managed business, which will be invaluable to our clients.
“We are confident her expertise will further strengthen our offering and help our clients tackle the unique challenges of today’s business environment with confidence and agility. We are excited to welcome her aboard.”
