Sumer Northern Ireland has announced the appointment of Jonathan McMillan as a senior manager in its Internal Audit team.
He joinsSumer Northern Ireland from a ‘Big Four’ firm where he managed the IT Internal Audit team covering the island of Ireland.
McMillan is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and Chartered Internal Auditor, and is responsible for developing Sumer Northern Ireland’s IT Audit service.
He is also a member of the Ireland Committee of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, with expertise spanning cybersecurity, IT strategy, and business continuity.
Sumer NI was formally the Belfast office of ASM and was acquired by the Sumer Group back in June.
It became Sumer’s 10th regional hub and the company now has more than 40 offices.
The acquisition marked Sumer’s first venture into the Northern Irish market.
