Bishop Fleming has announced the appointment of Iona Martin and Zoe Martin as tax partners to its Cheltenham office, which bolster the firm’s private client offering.
The two appointments come as Bishop Fleming is growing its service offering in the Gloucestershire region and nationally.
Iona Martin, who was previously tax director and head of private banking tax at KPMG, has over 25 years of private client advisory experience, most recently supporting financial services clients in the wealth sector.
Meanwhile, Zoe Martin is a private client taxation specialist with over 25 years of experience in private practice. She has joined Bishop Fleming from RSM UK and also brings a wealth of knowledge working with high net worth individuals, owner managed businesses and trusts.
Andrew Browne, head of tax at Bishop Fleming, said: “We see great opportunity for growth in the region. The opening of our Cheltenham office in 2023 and subsequent investment in people is testament to our focus on ambitious growth targets across the Midlands and South West.
“We are pleased not only to strengthen our presence in Cheltenham but also expand the range of specialist services we can offer to our private clients.”
He added: “I look forward to working with Iona and Zoe and drawing upon their experience and knowledge to help realise our ambitions during this exciting journey.”
Bishop Fleming also recruited Jamie Vinall as audit director in its Cheltenham office earlier this April.
