HLB, a global network of independent advisory and accounting firms, has appointed Bettina Cassegrain as global director of Professional Standards and Sustainability Assurance.The network said Cassegrain’s long-time dedication to professional standards and sustainability assurance has “enhanced its reputation as a global leader in delivering exceptional client services”.
In her new role, Cassegrain will promote responsible business practices that align with HLB’s purpose to create a “positive and sustainable” impact.
Her leadership will extend to outreach initiatives focusing on training, quality assurance, and related matters across Europe, Eurasia, French-speaking Africa, Latin America, and South America.
Commenting on her appointment, Cassegrain said: “I am proud to assume the position of Global Director of Professional Standards and Sustainability Assurance. I am excited to collaborate with the HLB community to create meaningful value and impact.
“Together, we will continue to advance our commitment to sustainability across the globe while at the same time supporting our clients in their strategic efforts which, going forward, will be intricately linked with questions around sustainability.”
