Sedulo Group appoints Amit Rungta as Transaction Services director

Sedulo Group has announced the appointment of Amit Rungta as Transaction Services director as the firm continues the growth of their Deal Advisory division in 2024.

Rungta joins Sedulo Group with over 12 years of global transactions experience across the UK, Singapore, and India, having previously held senior roles across the Big Four, most recently at PWC UK. Rungta has significant sector experience in Healthcare, Tech & Media, Business services, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy and Airport Infrastructure.

He has advised and worked with leading Private Equity Funds and Sovereign Wealth funds such as Novo Holdings, Oakley Capital, Macquarie Capital, KKR, Temasek, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and strategic corporates in the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, including Mitsubishi.

Rungta also advised on the £910m stake sale of Alliance Medical Group to iCON fund and healthcare deals for KKR and a renewable energy deal for Macquarie Capital.

This latest director-level appointment in the Deal Advisory division follows the appointment of Logan Rowan as national head of Transaction Services from KPMG in February as the Mid-Tier ranked Sedulo Group remain on course to record double-digit growth in 2024 and double in size over the next three years.

Sedulo’s headcount is over 200 consultants across their home cities of London, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool, as well as an upcoming Birmingham office which opens in summer.

Sedulo plan to add more Corporate Finance and Transaction Services expertise to the team over the coming months, cementing their dealmaking offering across the UK.
