Bishop Fleming has announced the appointment of Jamie Vinall as the new audit director in its Cheltenham team.
The news comes as demand within the firm’s audit services at the branch, which first opened in September 2023, has increased – most notably in the owner-managed business market.
Vinall joins with Big Four firm experience, having audited large corporate entities spanning retail, automotive, power and renewables, and construction industries.
Since opening the office, Bishop Fleming has revealed a focus on “ambitious” growth targets across the Midlands and the south west.
Vinall said: “I am delighted to join Bishop Fleming and excited by the business’s vision for the future, particularly regarding the growth strategy in the Cheltenham region.
“Gloucestershire has such a diverse pool of businesses, and I look forward to networking and seeking opportunities for working with these exciting businesses.”
David Butler, Cheltenham office lead at Bishop Fleming, said: “It gives me immense pleasure to welcome Jamie to our business. His appointment represents a significant enhancement to our Gloucestershire reach as we look towards an exciting period of growth.
“Jamie’s experience with a diverse range of clients will strengthen the specialist services we can offer to our clients in this region.”
Andrew Sandiford, managing partner at Bishop Fleming, added: “Jamie’s appointment fits in with Bishop Fleming’s long-term strategic ambition to strengthen our footprint between the firm’s Bristol and Worcester offices.
“We are committed to growing our client base in the Three Counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire and better supporting them.”
