Dunkley’s merges with Gillespie’s Chartered Accountants

The deal marks a key milestone in the growth of Dunkley’s and the firm will remain at its main office in Bristol

Dunkley’s Chartered Accountants has announced that it has merged with Gillespie’s Chartered Accountants.

The Bristol-based businesses have enjoyed a close relationship over the past 20 years, and it has been recognised that merging teams offers an opportunity to “combine expertise and resources to better serve clients and enhance service offerings”.

The deal marks a key milestone in the growth of Dunkley’s and the firm will remain at its main office in Bristol.

Lisa White, director at Dunkley’s, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the team of experts from Gillespie’s Chartered Accountants into our business. Clients of Gillespie’s can expect a seamless transition, continuing to work with their trusted team members and receiving gold standard service.”

“Together, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our valued clients and we believe that this collaboration will enable us to provide even greater support and expertise to businesses in Bristol and across the South West.”

Mark Gillespie, Gillespie’s founder and director, added: “This merger marks a significant milestone for our firm, which has grown organically for over 15 years. Founded during the 2009 financial crash, we attracted clients who were looking for more from their accountants. We’ve prioritised delivering value, and I’m pleased so many clients have remained loyal.

“To meet growing demand and client needs, we knew we needed to expand our team. Having worked with Dunkley’s audit team, we know they share our values and have the in-house expertise to give more specialist advice. Combined, the businesses will have the scalability to meet the demand that we have been attracting.”
