RSM UK has promoted 10 new partners across its audit, tax, consulting and core function teams to help drive growth “from within its own ranks”.

The firm’s tax practice has promoted a total of four partners, including corporate tax expert Flora Barnes, personal tax specialists Kate Aitchison and Lewis Tompkins, as well as tax investigations expert Paul Marcroft.

The national consulting service line promoted accounting and financial expert Jo Duddle and restructuring advisory specialist James Hawksworth, whilst the firm’s national audit team promoted Charlotte Massey in Manchester and Michael Oates in Preston.

In addition, Catherine Riches has been promoted to brand and communications partner, and Oliver Brett’s pivotal role in the firm’s commercial finance function has also been recognised as he joins the new cohort of partners.

Rob Donaldson, CEO at RSM UK, said: “We’re delighted to announce our new partners as they embark on the next chapter in their careers here at RSM. This demonstrates our key focus on growing and supporting our own talent.

“Each one of our new cohort of partners brings a unique skill to their role, their team and the firm as a whole. This breadth of experience, expertise and knowledge will help shape the future of our firm and support our middle market clients in navigating opportunities and succeeding in an ever changing business environment. I look forward to working with our new partners to help shape an exciting future for our firm.”

Dan Thompson, people partner at RSM UK, added: “Today marks a huge achievement and a real moment to celebrate our new partners’ hard work, dedication, and commitment. We value the impact and contribution our people make and growing our own talent is a pivotal part of our long-term strategy.”
