Ashmole and Co promotes Vinal Patel to partner

Ashmole and Co accountants has promoted one of its longest serving members of staff, Vinal Patel, to the position of partner.

Patel, who lives in Ammanford, joined Ashmole and Co as a trainee, straight from school, in 2002.

Whilst working full time for the accountancy firm, for over 20 years, he has achieved his ATT and ACCA qualifications.

Patel has been involved in sports all his life, he played rugby for Brynamman RFC for many years and more recently competed in triathlons including Ironman Wales in 2023. He also served the local community as a retained firefighter for a period of 10 years.

Ashmole and Co Chartered and Certified Accountants have been established since 1897 and are one of the “largest” accountancy and auditing practices in Wales, operating from 13 offices throughout south and west Wales including Haverfordwest, Ammanford, Swansea and Carmarthen.

Patel said: “I am delighted to be joining the partnership of Ashmole and Co after working my whole career with the firm. I pride myself on building working relationships with clients and being approachable and available when needed to help clients achieve their goals. I’m looking forward to starting this new chapter.”
