Accountancy firm Rennie Welch LLP has announced the promotions of Lynn Miller and Ross Tinlin, to the role of associate.

Both Miller and Tinlin were the first to complete Rennie Welch’s associate programme, initiated in 2021 to “foster and enhance internal talent”.

Miller, based in the firm’s Berwick office, has served in general practice since 2002. She has established herself as a taxation specialist, providing support to a diverse clientele, including families, partnerships, and corporate entities.

Miller joined Rennie Welch in 2014, having earned qualifications as a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser.

Meanwhile, Tinlin, situated in the Kelso office in the Scottish Borders, joined Rennie Welch immediately after high school graduation in 2002.

Over the past two decades, he has honed his expertise while working with a wide range of clients.

Tinlin now specialises in company and charity accounts, as well as management accounting for various businesses.

Gordon Chisholm, managing partner of Rennie Welch, said: “I’m delighted with the immense progress that both Lynn and Ross have made since joining the firm and I warmly congratulate them on their move to associate level. They have both been fully committed and have delivered great client service since joining Rennie Welch.

“Their success follows our investment into an associate training programme designed to ensure we can best develop our in-house talent and enable colleagues to progress towards partner level. Lynn and Ross are now one step closer to that achievement. I look forward to working with them as they continue their onward and upward journey within our firm.”
