Moore Kingston Smith LLP, a multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm, has appointed Lynn Lin as a partner and head of its dedicated China and Asia-Pacific desk.
A Chartered Management Accountant and ATT-qualified tax adviser with over 15 years of commercial and technical experience across a range of industries, Lin specialises in helping businesses expand internationally, from setting up overseas subsidiaries to managing accounting and compliance, securing funding and navigating cross-border tax issues.
The firm said her expertise, honed through her industry background, provides a “deep understanding” of businesses’ commercial needs and how they want services delivered. She covers corporate and personal tax issues for business owners and managers, employee incentives and complex transactions.
It added she has a strong track record in guiding businesses through their international growth and helping them achieve their goals.
Lin’s career began in industry, where she held commercial finance roles before transitioning into professional services. She’s a frequent guest speaker at universities, business chambers and international forums on cross-border expansion, tax strategy and commercialisation.
Matt Meadows, managing partner at Moore Kingston Smith, said: “Helping businesses achieve their ambitions is what drives us, whether their goals are to expand internationally, attract UK investment or bridge operations across regions. To be successful requires experts like Lynn, whose genuine understanding of business culture in both markets supports ambitious clients to grow their global footprint. Welcome to the team, Lynn.”
Lin added: “With a strong international outlook, entrepreneurial spirit and long-term commitment to client partnerships, joining Moore Kingston Smith was an easy decision. With an exceptional global network and collaborative culture, the firm offers an ideal platform to support clients on complex cross-border journeys. I’m excited to lead this regionally specialised desk within this forward-thinking firm.”
