Dow Schofield Watts has promoted three members of its North West corporate finance team following a year in which the team’s fee income rose by 209%.

The promotions come after a 12-month period of deal activity averaging £60m per transaction.

Ross Thomas has been appointed director and will continue to lead on transactions across environmental services, business-to-business services, and financial services.

His recent work includes three acquisitions for APEM Group, the sale of ARMA Connect to Normec, and the sale of Ruth Lee to Protect Medical.

Alex Odlin has been promoted to associate director. He will continue to advise private clients across the region and recently acted on the sale of Jones to United Living.

Jack Keoghan has been promoted to manager. He joined Deloitte in January 2024 and was part of the team advising on the sale of Raintite to Bergman and Beving.

Gregg Pendlington, partner at Dow Schofield Watts, said: “This round of promotions is testament to the brilliant work these three individuals have delivered over recent years. We’re extremely proud of the progress the team has made, not only in terms of growth, but in the quality of work and the results achieved.

“For a team of our size to deliver such impressive outcomes is no small feat, and Ross, Alex, and Jack have each played a significant part in that success. We’re looking forward to seeing them thrive in their new roles.”
