Gerald Edelman has officially completed its acquisition of Redhill-based Vista Partners as part of its strategy to expand regional services and strengthen its national presence.
Vista Partners, which supports owner-managed businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Surrey, Sussex and the South East, will continue to operate under its existing leadership. Managing partners Gary Proudlock and Susan Jones will remain with the firm.
The acquisition aims to broaden Gerald Edelman’s client base and enhance access to services across Surrey. Gerald Edelman, founded in 1946 and headquartered in London, offers accountancy, auditing, tax planning, corporate finance and strategic business advice to mid-market companies in the UK and internationally.
Gerald Edelman was advised by Quastels LLP on legal matters related to the transaction.
Carl Lundberg, chief executive of Gerald Edelman, said: “This acquisition is an exciting step in our journey to become the go-to firm for ambitious business leaders. Vista Partners shares our entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to quality, and collaborative ethos, all of which are essential as we continue to grow and innovate.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with Gary, Susan, and the wider team to deliver even more value to clients in the region.”
Gary Proudlock, managing partner at Vista Partners, added: “Joining Gerald Edelman is a natural fit for us. We’ve built our business on trust, quality, and long-term relationships, values we see reflected in everything Gerald Edelman does.
“We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for our clients and our people, and we’re looking forward to what’s next.”
