Gerald Edelman has announced the promotion of Ben Hildebrand and Talha Farrukh to partners, taking its total headcount in the partnership to 22.

Hildebrand joined the firm’s business services department in 2016, after qualifying at a smaller general practice. His specialisms include business advisory and growth, often acting as a CFO for clients.

Hildebrand said: “Becoming a partner at Gerald Edelman is a proud and significant milestone in my career. Over the years, Gerald Edelman and the partners have provided me with the platform and opportunities to nurture my skillset, particularly in advisory roles, ensuring the best experience for our clients and becoming their trusted partner.

“The journey has been both rewarding and challenging – I am truly grateful for the support and mentorship along the way and am incredibly excited for this next chapter.”

Meanwhile, Farrukh joined in August 2023 and has over 15 years of experience in primarily leading corporate audits and specialisms in the energy and natural resources sector.

He now leads a boutique audit and assurance team focused on supporting clients in this industry.

Farrukh said: “I am absolutely thrilled to join the partnership at Gerald Edelman, which has been an ambition of mine for a very long time. It is also noteworthy that this has occurred at a time of significant growth, challenge and opportunity for the firm, particularly in audit where we have achieved tremendous success both in terms of recent growth, but also by building an audit function that is geared towards future success. I am incredibly excited to see where the future will take us.”

Carl Lundberg, CEO of Gerald Edelman, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Ben and Talha to the Gerald Edelman partnership. Their exceptional expertise and wealth of experience will be instrumental in shaping the firm’s future vision.

“As we continue our mission to help business leaders succeed, I am confident that both of our new Partners will be key contributors to Gerald Edelman’s ongoing success and growth.”
