Kreston Global has appointed Sharon Omer-Kaye, a partner at James Cowper Kreston, as chair to the network’s Global Private Client Services (GPCS) group.

Omer-Kaye has “deep and broad” experience in the private client field both technically and at a leadership level. Having qualified as a chartered tax adviser, alongside being a member of the global Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, she currently leads the Private Client and Global Mobility team at James Cowper Kreston.

The Global Private Client Services group, a sub-group of the Global Tax group, provides expertise to international high-net-worth individuals and their families on a range of matters from tax compliance and risk management strategies to offshore solutions including estate planning as well as more structured solutions including the use of trusts, personal investment companies, and family offices.

This offering also extends to global mobility services for mid and senior level employees including inbound and outbound tax advice, asset structuring, expatriate policies and social security advice working alongside other professionals supporting relocation and immigration.

Omer-Kaye said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed as chair of the Global Private Client Services Group. Working with wealthy individuals, families, business owners and their advisers to support their global needs and ambitions has never been more important. Thanks to the plethora of expertise within the network, we are well placed to provide tailored, broad advice and value to international clients around the world.

“Understanding the focus of countries, firms, and people is key in identifying opportunities to collaborate and find global solutions. There’s a real opportunity to develop the private client service within Kreston Global and I am looking forward to helping shape this.”

Liza Robbins, CEO of Kreston Global, added: “We are very excited with Sharon’s appointment to the group. She brings a wealth of experience in steering private client teams and on an individual level has demonstrated a keen commitment to client service throughout her career. I look forward to working closely with her and the international cohort of private client specialists within the network in future.”

Kreston Global has three main global service line groups run by members and supported by the central HQ team: Tax, Audit, and Advisory. These groups house a number of subgroups such as Corporate Finance, Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing, R&D Tax Credits and Internal Audit and Risk.
