James Cowper Kreston appoints new business tax director

James Cowper Kreston has announced the appointment of Sam Swansborough as director to its business tax team with a particular focus on R&D Tax Relief.

Swansborough joins James Cowper Kreston with extensive experience spanning the tax sector, specialising in R&D Tax Relief and patent box, including large and international practices such as EY, RSM and Menzies.

He also has expertise across a number of industry sectors including life sciences, manufacturing and software development.

Swansborough said: “With over 17 years of experience in business taxes and a passion for client service, I am thrilled to be joining James Cowper Kreston’s Business Tax service line. I’m eager to offer my advice and expertise, to help businesses fund and implement their R&D strategies and maximise their potential.”
