Paperchase Accountancy has secured a minority growth investment from private equity firm BGF, which it will use to fund its global expansion.Founded over 30 years ago in London, Paperchase works with restaurants, bars, pubs, and other hospitality brands seeking expert financial management.
With a global team of over 1,200 employees, the company supports more than 3,000 hospitality locations across Europe, America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, with plans to continue worldwide expansion over the next few years.
Its client base collectively holds over 20 Michelin stars and ranges from start-ups to multi-chain and high-profile establishments. Notable customers include Zuma, Dishoom, Five Guys NY, and Daniel Boulud.
Backed by the investment from BGF, Paperchase said it will “harness cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights to deliver additional value to the hospitality sector, while strengthening its leadership position”.
Advancements such as real-time financial reporting, and strategic workforce growth will further enrich Paperchase’s restaurant accounting solutions, support the firm’s global client base and facilitate “seamless” onboarding of new businesses as Paperchase continues its expansion.
