Pierce Business Advisory and Accountancy Group has announced the appointment of Emma Wallace as its new forensic director.

Wallace’s addition enhances the team’s expertise, bringing her extensive experience in managing “complex” commercial disputes, regulatory matters, matrimonial disputes, both contentious and non-contentious business valuations, fraud and misconduct investigations, and business interruption claims.

With over 20 years of experience spanning Big 4 accounting firms, smaller practices, and industry roles, Wallace has worked with UK and international law firms, corporates, and individuals.

She serves as a director and vice-chair of the North West Fraud Forum and is a member of the Central Advisory Committee for the ICAEW Forensic and Expert Witness Community.

Wallace said: “I am delighted to join Pierce and contribute to the firm’s outstanding reputation in delivering expert forensic accounting services. I look forward to working with the talented team here to grow our client base and support our existing clients in navigating complex financial challenges and achieving successful outcomes.”

George Horley, forensic director, added: “We are excited to welcome Emma to the team at Pierce. Her extensive experience and deep expertise in forensic accounting will further strengthen our capabilities and enhance our support to our clients. I am confident that Emma’s leadership and insights will be a tremendous asset as we grow our forensic services.”
