James Cowper Kreston’s corporate finance team has provided financial and tax due diligence services to Andwis Group, which is backed by H.I.G. Capital, for the acquisition of Elliott Environment Services Limited.

A technical services provider of M&E, lift maintenance, entrance and access security, HVAC, and fire and security, the addition of EES will enhance Andwis Group’s offering throughout the Southern region’s commercial, industrial and residential sectors.

Headquartered in Yeovil, Somerset, EES is an air conditioning, ventilation and heating company. Since 2003, the company has built an “excellent” reputation over the years for delivering high-quality, cost-effective and reliable solutions.

Ian Thomas, managing director of EES, said: “This is an exciting time for Elliott Environmental Services Limited, giving us an opportunity to build on the huge successes the business has achieved so far and enabling us to offer customers a comprehensive range of engineering solutions as part of the mechanical and electrical division of the Andwis Group.”

Liam Connelly, CEO of the Andwis M&E division, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the excellent team at EES into the Andwis family, to enhance our HVAC offering in the Southwest and to further strengthen our range of sustainable building solutions.”

Brad McAvoy, partner at James Cowper Kreston, added: “This acquisition of EES will enable Andwis Group to further strengthen their mechanical and electrical services offering in the Southwest.

“We are confident that this acquisition will enhance their service capabilities and market presence in the region.”
