Xeinadin has announced the acquisition of accountancy firm Jones Harris Limited and its sister company, The North West Business Support Centre (NWBSC).
It comes after the firm achieved its 25th acquisition in the last two years after acquiring Clay Shaw Thomas in July.
Established over 50 years ago, Jones Harris Limited has worked closely with local businesses and offers audit and accounts services, as well as corporate and personal taxation.
Additionally, NWBSC provides professional payroll services across the North West of England.
The Jones Harris team consists of 31 qualified accountants, tax specialists and other professionals, who will join Xeinadin under the continued leadership of managing director Charles Bryning.
Likewise, NWBSC’s team of five payroll specialists will also join the group, led by managing director Ian Purdon.
Derry Crowley, CEO of Xeinadin, said: “Serving local businesses and helping them to thrive, Jones Harris has been a stalwart in Fleetwood for over 50 years and is a perfect fit for the ethos instilled at Xeinadin.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Charles and the team continue to unlock growth for the SMEs they work with whilst simultaneously benefiting from the additional resources that being part of Xeinadin brings.”
Bryning said: “The Xeinadin model is the best way forward for accountancy practices specialising in the SME sector. We are excited to join a group of like minded accountants servicing small businesses and expanding the range of services we can offer clients.”
Purdon added: “Payroll is a time-consuming and constantly evolving industry, and one that requires constant innovation if you are to stay in touch.
“Joining Xeinadin ensures we can continue to provide local, friendly services to our clients while being part of a large organisation that supports and stabilises us in an ever-changing business environment.”
