UK accounting firm Saffery Champness has announced it has now rebranded as Saffery in a bid to launch the firm into a new chapter.
Founded in 1855, Saffery is one of the oldest accounting firms in the UK to remain entirely independent.
The firm has said that the recent rebranding aligns more closely with Nexia, the top 15 network of independent accounting and consulting firms, which reflects Saffery’s focus on the demand for cross–border advice and services from clients around the world.
Throughout its 160+ years of operation, Saffery built a network of 10 offices across the UK and Ireland which have evolved in size and scope, with over 1,000 people focused on the firm’s areas of expertise.
The firm has announced that its independent fiduciary business, with offerings in Guernsey, Switzerland, Dubai and the Cayman Islands, is also rebranding as Saffery Trust.
In addition, the firm is launching its new employee valuation proposition, which will help recruit and retain people in the business.
Matthew Burton, managing partner, said: “This is a hugely exciting time for the firm. Launching a fresh brand, alongside our new employee valuation proposition, was a key strategic priority for us and I am immensely grateful to all those involved for their efforts and for delivering a brand that everyone in the firm can be proud to be part of.
“We have achieved significant growth in recent years and our evolved business is perfectly captured and supported by our new brand. It builds on our heritage and supports our ambitions for the future.”
