Dains Accountants has appointed Ann Bibby as tax partner in the firm’s Birmingham office.
Bibby brings over 25 years of experience as a chartered tax adviser and qualified accountant, specialising in a wide range of business and personal tax matters.
Prior to joining Dains, she held significant roles in reputable firms, including Ellacotts LLP, Harrison Clark Rickerbys Ltd, Mazars and Deloitte.
With her expertise in tax advisory, she will play a vital role in providing strategic tax guidance to clients across various industries. Her areas of focus include corporate tax, transaction tax, R&D tax relief, management equity and share options, restructuring, capital allowances, and employment tax issues.
She also offers a comprehensive range of personal tax services, covering aspects such as annual tax compliance, profit extraction, business disposal, estate planning, emigration, and non-UK domicile planning.
Her client-centric approach and commitment to adding value make her a valuable addition to the firm’s team. She possesses a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding tax planning for wealthy individuals and entrepreneurs, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and their implications for corporations.
