Worcestershire-based accountancy firm, Ballards LLP, has collaborated with Four Squared Recruitment to embark on a series of fundraising initiatives in support of their chosen charity of the year, the Worcester Foodbank.

The joint efforts of the teams from Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment have resulted in already raising over £1,000 thus far through various events held throughout the year.

One of the events in the fundraising campaign was the recent Worcester half marathon, which took place on Sunday, 21 May.

Matthew Clarke, marketing manager at Ballards LLP, said: “I was keen to be involved in the fundraising but wanted to make sure it was a challenge and after 13 miles my legs would tell you it was. I am glad we were able to support such a great cause, and, in a way, that was the real motivation that spurred me on mile after mile.”

HR director at Ballards LLP, Sarah Stevens, added: “The continued efforts from the teams at Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment have not only made a significant impact on the Worcester Foodbank but have also served as a testament to both businesses’ commitment to corporate social responsibility.

“By coming together to support the local community, these organisations have exemplified the power of collective action in creating positive change.”
