Mercer and Hole opens new office in Rickmansworth

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the staff had enjoyed lunch together in the new office

Chartered accountancy firm, Mercer and Hole, has revealed opening a new office in Rickmansworth earlier this month. The ribbon was reportedly cut by Watford Football club stars Tom Cleverley and Helen Ward.

Cleverley has played for Watford since 2017, and before that, he had played for Manchester United, Leicester City, Everton and represented England.

Helen Ward is an international striker and “prolific” goal scorer who has played for Arsenal, Chelsea and then spent 14 years as team captain at Watford.

Both players are said to have reiterated how important it was to have a strong support network around them to play at the level they are at and to “balance their work and family life”.

This is reportedly something the firm can relate to as it “places such a strong emphasis” on a good work-life balance and coming together as a successful team.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the staff had enjoyed lunch together in the new office, and later in the day, the Mercer and Hole cupcakes “made an appearance” and the firm was joined by its Trinity Court neighbours to join in the festivities.

Mark Cassidy, audit and business advisory partner, said: “What an honour it was to be joined by two incredible players to celebrate the opening of our new premises.

“At Mercer and Hole we have been visible in the Watford business community for quite a few years and we were so fortunate to welcome Watford stars Tom and Helen to our offices to cut the ribbon.”
