ACCA partners with Ignition to streamline client onboarding

The integration of payment, data protection requirements and services provided to clients into a single onboarding process is the solution to ensuring compliance, but also efficiency.

ACCA has renewed its partnership with Ignition to deliver a more streamlined and automated client onboarding experience in the accountancy profession.

Using the Ignition app, ACCA said practitioners will be able to create “stand-out” interactive proposals and engagement letters, alongside ensuring they get paid on time.

For accountancy, a Letter of Engagement (LOE) is an essential and mandatory part of the client relationship.

Ignition has incorporated into this new system ACCA UK’s LOE template. For ACCA UK, it said the integration of payment, data protection requirements and services provided to clients into a single onboarding process with Ignition is the solution to ensuring compliance, but also efficiency.

Glenn Collins, head of policy, technical and strategic engagement at ACCA, said: ‘We are delighted to renew and strengthen our partnership with Ignition, following three incredibly successful years. We understand the challenges our practitioners face and listen to our community to establish partnerships that truly benefit them.”

Emma Crawford-Falekaono, head of EMEA at Ignition, added: “ACCA’s one of the world’s most respected and influential accounting industry associations. Our work together is pivotal to our regional goal of ensuring accountancy and bookkeeping firms are best equipped with the right tech to drive revenue, reduce admin, remain compliant and increase value for clients.

“Working side by side empowers us to enhance our connection to the industry while opening opportunities for ACCA to continue fulfilling its mission.”
