Ask IRIS 360° MTD event to feature HMRC keynote

The second event in the leading accountancy software provider’s digital series will help you navigate MTD

With the Making Tax Digital (MTD) deadline dates quickly approaching, and with new regulations to understand, it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed.

The Ask IRIS “MTD 360°: Exploring Every Angle of Making Tax Digital” event, taking place on March 10, can help you turn the MTD challenge into an opportunity.

You’ll learn the must-have tools and insights you need to ensure the transition is a smooth and easy one for your firm. Find out about deadlines, how to avoid penalties for non-compliance and how employing HMRC-recognized accounting software can reduce your admin tasks from days to hours.

In short, you’ll learn how to stay ahead of the curve.

The event, as its name suggests, will be tackling MTD from all sides, from the perspectives of HMRC, accountants and IRIS.

The keynote presentation will be by HMRC’s Govinder Saimbhi, External Stakeholder Lead on MTD. She’ll guide you through practical steps companies can take to make a successful transition to MTD, offering strategic insights from HMRC perspective.

The accountants’ side of MTD will be covered in expert discussions with Lucy Cohen and Will Farnell.

Lucy Cohen is co-founder of Mazuma as well as an author, leader and change advocate with 19 years of experience in the accounting industry.

Will Farnell is the founder and director of the multi-award-winning Farnell Clarke LTD. He is an expert in SME accountancy and business advisory services, helping practices to develop and grow.

Representing IRIS’s view of MTD will be IRIS experts Steve Cox, Jenny Strudwick and Eva Mrazikova.

Each session will be followed by a Q & A. When you enrol, you’ll be able to submit a question to be answered by one of the experts.

“MTD 360°: Exploring Every Angle of Making Tax Digital” is the second in the Ask IRIS Sessions, which explore the most pressing issues in accountancy today, offering professional insight and guidance.

Register now for the 10th of March and get up to speed on how to easily navigate the MTD transition and make easy work of the upcoming deadlines.

And don’t forget to submit your question.
