Marking a growth in the combined group’s Midlands ambitions, the wealth management and professional services firm is set to take the 14th floor of the building.

The office space will accommodate roughly 150 people from the two legacy businesses, promoting smart working with meeting and collaboration areas for staff members.

Moreover, the group will be provided access to event space on the building’s 18th floor to host seminars, presentations, and outdoor terrace events.

Dr Adam Parker, managing director at the company’s Birmingham financial services team said that the new office will enable the group to “keep pace” with its “ambitious regional expansion plans”.

He added: “Tilney and Smith & Williamson are two of the leading wealth management businesses in the Midlands and so we are delighted to be able to bring them together as one team at 103 Colmore Row.”

Stephen Drew, professional services regional managing partner in Birmingham, added: “Our professional services team has more than doubled in the last 12 months and, as our growth journey continues, we are delighted to be able to offer a contemporary and smart working environment for our clients and team.”
