Welsh independent accountancy firm Bevan Buckland has revealed plans to launch a new office between Bridgend and Cardiff.
Headquartered in Swansea, the group currently operates through “well-established teams” in Swansea, Carmarthen, Pembroke, Haverfordwest, and St David’s.
The new opening will represent an expansion to Bevan Buckland’s team to the east of the group’s current operations.
Alison Vickers, managing partner at the company, said: “We are delighted to be putting plans into action to expand our footprint into the Bridgend/Cardiff area, so we can offer the highest quality accounting, tax, audit and financial planning services to businesses and individuals across South Wales.
“Although all businesses in Wales have been impacted by the pandemic, we have been able to proceed with our plans for careful, steady growth across the region to ensure we maintain our leading position as Wales’ largest independent accounting firm.”
Bevan Buckland has announced 15 hires over the past year, as well as internal promotions and a new intake of graduates and school leavers through the firm’s training academy.
In turn, Vickers added that the new office location “will also allow us to expand our recruitment of experienced professionals”, enabling the group to “attract the top accounting, tax and audit talent” from across South Wales.
