Kilsby Williams appointed as Poundstretcher auditor

The firm said that its expert knowledge, technical ability, and experience advising companies in the retail sector led to its appointment

Kilsby Williams, a South East Wales-based accountancy firm, has been appointed to audit national retail chain Poundstretcher.

The deal will see the group, which specialises in providing a variety of audit solutions for businesses, also advise Poundstetcher on tax matters.

Kilsby said that its “expert knowledge, technical ability, and experience advising companies in the retail sector” led to its appointment.

Founded in 1981, Poundstretcher operates with a 370-store portfolio across the UK, including 26 Welsh shops.

The employer of over 6,000 staff members is also aiming to further extend its presence across the country.
