Commenting on her appointment, King said: “I’m excited to take on this role and build on the success I have already had with the firm. I joined Burgis and Bullock early in my career and after 15 years of service have a clear understanding of the culture and goals of the firm and I’m committed to supporting its growth and expansion over the coming years.

“Alongside strengthening our existing client relationships and generating new work, I will also be focusing on supporting the development of our staff within the corporate services team and reinforcing the firm’s commitment to the training and development of its employees.”

Wende Hubbard, managing partner at Burgis and Bullock, added: “Kate has excellent client relationship skills as well as being a supportive mentor to her team and is certainly ready for the step up to partner, having already demonstrated her ability to carry out many aspects of the role, particularly in terms of demonstrating her leadership skills during the current pandemic situation.

“It’s always rewarding to be able to promote locally-based talented individuals and even more so when they have developed through their time at the firm. I look forward to working with her more closely as we continue to support our clients during this very difficult period for business.”
