Accountancy firm Baldwins has strengthened its Wynyard team with a batch of new appointments.
The firm has appointed Abigail Simpson, Eve Cuthbert and Jo Lamb, to its accounts and audit department, and has promoted apprentice Emma Courtley to its accounts team.
Joanne Regan, partner for the Wynyard office, said: “Given our increased service lines, growing client base and internal promotions, we needed additional staff who were enthusiastic to develop their skills and careers.
“We’ve always been ahead of the curve when it comes to digital and cloud accounting and we needed to bolster our team with people who had experience in this area.”
As part of its future plans, Baldwins is also planning another recruitment drive this year.
Regan added: “I am committed to growing our business and the services we offer, and it is encouraging to be able to offer positions in a very positive and flexible working environment.”
Earlier this month, Baldwins announced its Birmingham branch doubled in size since opening in late 2018.
The accountancy firm said that “much of the growth” was due to the introduction of the audit and assurance department, a financial due diligence team, and forensic specialists.
Its existing corporate finance, restructuring and insolvency, and tax teams have also increased staff numbers due to “increasing demand” for their services.
