Topps Tiles plc has announced it has changed its auditor from PwC to Mazars.

It comes following an internal review, where a resolution was put to the shareholders of Topps Tiles at its annual general meeting held on 18 January 2023 to appoint Mazars as auditors of the company in replacement of PwC.

Regarding the change, PwC stated: “The reason we are ceasing to hold office is that the company wishes to appoint another firm of auditors at a lower fee than we charged for our audit for the 52 week period ended 1 October 2022.

“There are no reasons for and no other matters connected with our ceasing to hold office as auditors of the company that we consider need to be brought to the attention of the company members or creditors.”
