Consilium advises Instinctive BI on sale to Version 1  

Consilium Chartered Accountants has supported Instinctive BI through a full range of compliance, business advisory, tax and payroll services

Glasgow-based firm Consilium Chartered Accountants has provided corporate finance and tax advisory services to Instinctive BI in light of its recent sale to Version 1.     

Data and business intelligence expert Instinctive BI employs over 60 consultants across its offices in Edinburgh, Manchester and London. It works with clients across the public and private sectors providing solutions and resources to solve data change challenges. 

This latest deal represents Version 1’s 14th acquisition as the global technology and digital transformation provider continues its rapid expansion.         

Commenting on Consilium’s role, Instinctive BI CEO Nicholas McFadden said: “The team at Consilium have supported us since our early days, providing not only excellent accountancy services but helping advise and guide us as we’ve grown over these past six years.  

“With Consilium’s understanding of our business and the relationships we’ve developed over our time working together there wasn’t even a decision to be made on who was best placed to support us through the transaction.”   

He added: “We have seen no let-up in demand for our services for several years now, testament to the work that our team does for our clients every single day. In Version 1 we have found the right partner to support and accelerate our ambitious growth plans to meet this demand.”
