Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has made two new appointments to its leadership team.

Anna Draper and Kaley Crossthwaite will join BDO’s leadership team in July, replacing Wendy Walton and Jon Randall who are both retiring from the firm.

Audit partner, Draper, joins the leadership team having spent the last three years as head of BDO’s offices in the South East region. She began working for BDO as a senior manager in 2007 and was promoted to partner in 2012 and regional lead partner in 2019, responsible for overseeing two offices consisting of almost 400 people.

Her role on BDO’s leadership team will see Draper focus on partner development and engagement, helping to plan the pipeline of future partners within the firm.

Meanwhile, Crossthwaite takes on her new leadership role after spending the last three years as head of BDO’s Forensic and Valuation Services (FAVS), leading a national team of almost 200. She has been with the firm for more than 20 years, joining as manager and being promoted to partner in 2008.

Her remit within the leadership team will see her strengthen BDO’s continued focus on quality and risk management.

Paul Eagland, managing partner of BDO, said: “I am incredibly pleased to announce our new leadership team members. I will also take the opportunity to thank both Wendy and Jon for their invaluable contributions to BDO in their time with the firm.

“Anna and Kaley have already proven their leadership capabilities, both successfully leading large teams as well as continuing to advise and support clients within their respective areas of the business.”

He added: “Our commitment to high quality and the development of our talent continue to be priority areas for the leadership team. I have confidence that Anna and Kaley will help us succeed in these areas to benefit both our people and our clients.”
