FRP Advisory appointed for BetterBathrooms administration

FRP Advisory has been appointed to deal with the administration of bathroom retailer, BetterBathrooms.

The retailer has recently made 325 employees redundant and kept 10 on temporarily in order to help wind up the business. BetterBathrooms currently operates 13 showrooms across the UK along with two trade counters. Phil Pierce, handling the administration, said the company “suffered from severe cashflow difficulties and an extended period of soft trading”.

Pierce said he and the company would be working with the redundant staff members in order to support them with their claims through the Redundancy Payments service. The demise of the retailer was predicted by many on Twitter who had noticed delays to their deliveries.

I'm guessing #betterbathrooms have gone in to administration as all phone nos. Including store going to ansaphone. Was expecting a delivery today but cannot get in touch with them. I'm sure they're happy to have our money though 😡

Pierce said: “We know that customers will also be particularly concerned, and they should email Betterbathrooms@frpadvisory.com with their details. We will be writing to all customers as soon as possible”.
