Tilney Smith and Williamson has signed a deal for an expanded Newcastle office to help support its continued growth plans for the North East.

The new office at St Ann’s Quay will provide more than double the amount of space of its current Newcastle premises at nearby Quayside House.

According to the firm, it has provided financial planning services to its clients, which include families, business owners and charities, in Newcastle for over a decade.

Tilney also said the Newcastle office has recently been further boosted by a six-strong team joining the firm from Explore Wealth Management.

The firm’s new offices at St Ann’s Quay will provide a “contemporary” working environment for the 22 people it currently has based in the city and enable it to keep pace with its ambitious expansion plans.

The space includes first-class meeting areas for both clients and staff and Tilney will move into the offices at St Ann’s Quay later this year.

David Smith, managing partner of Tilney Smith and Williamson, said: “Our Newcastle office has been growing fast in recent years and with ambitious plans to expand the team further to meet client demand for our services it was essential for us to find bigger premises in the city.

“The deal we have agreed for new offices at St Ann’s Quay provides first-class facilities for our staff to collaborate and meet with clients in a convenient, central location overlooking the Tyne. We are passionate about working with our clients in the North East and agreeing terms for St Ann’s Quay reflects our continued commitment to supporting the region’s success.”
