Theta Global Advisors (Theta) has announced that it has joined the GGI Global Alliance (GGI) group as an independent member firm.

GGI is a global alliance of independent accounting firms, law firms and advisory firms. It has over 620 member firms with more than 870 offices in 126 countries and more than 29,600 full-time employees.

The new partnership will provide the firm with “industry recognition” of its growth and credibility in work thus far, enabling it to build on global and cross border “expertise” as part of its next phase of growth.

Chris Biggs, managing partner of Theta, said: “Theta’s role as an independent member firm in GGI Global Alliance is incredible recognition of how far Theta has come in such a short time which is credit to our team’s expertise and professionalism and focus on providing our clients with first class support and a real alternative to the ‘big firm only’ services.

“This is a landmark moment for Theta but importantly a launch pad to accelerate the growth of our global services to our new and existing global clients – a hugely exciting time”.

Marco Izzo, COO at GGI, added: “We are extremely excited and proud to welcome Theta Global Advisors as a new independent member of GGI.

“Theta brings into our global alliance a deep set of expertise, offering very highly specialised support services to clients that are involved in M&A deals and IPOs and differentiating themselves from traditional accounting firms.”
