TaxAssist Accountants, an accountancy and tax service provider for small businesses, has announced the launch of a new Inverurie site.

The latest addition will be operated as a franchise, with Steven Mearns and Cameron Allan running the business.

It marks the third shop in Mearns and Allan’s TaxAssist portfolio, joining sites in both Aberdeen and Banchory.

Mearns said: “We’ve all been very busy over the last year supporting our clients and have still managed to grow the practice, as we’ve seen a growing number of new business start-ups, hence the decision to open our third shop.”

Providing businesses and individual taxpayers with tax and accounting advice and support, the franchise also offers a range of advisory services, such as business planning, cash flow management, R&D tax credits, and estate and life planning.

Mearns added: “Inverurie is a vibrant town and attracts a lot of new businesses, particularly independent operators.

“With footfall increasing, and people eager to get out and about and spend money, things are certainly looking more positive for our high streets.”
