The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) has revealed that it will introduce a new online assessment platform for students of its professional qualifications.
The platform, called Rogo, is provided by Eintech and will facilitate a more “rounded assessment” model that will continue to test technical competency but in “realistic, work-based” contexts.
The introduction of Rogo is part of wider efforts at the institute to refresh its professional qualifications, with the aim of ensuring qualified public finance professionals are equipped with the skills they need for the future.
Anna Howard, head of qualifications and membership, CIPFA, said: “The robustness of CIPFA’s online examinations is fundamental to the integrity of our professional qualifications.
“We’re looking forward to working with Eintech to develop and futureproof assessment methodologies for our students, and the way in which they can support future enhancements to the assessment of our qualification.”
