Accountancy firm, Fortus, has announced the opening of its Southern territory flagship office at Grove House, in Southampton’s Ocean Village.

The new office is in addition to the recent refurbishment at the company’s main Northern office in York.

The Southampton office will now bring together and house key specialist divisions in the form of business recovery, audit, service charge and accounting amongst a wider business advisory offering.

With the brand’s expansion plans on target, the UK wide Fortus team now comprises over 260 people operating in 12 offices.

Gordon Johnson, executive director, Fortus, said: “For some time, we’ve been evaluating the structure of our organisation including where we’re physically based within Southampton.

“Having significantly increased the size of our Southern based teams over the last few months, we’re pleased to have been able to consolidate our full range of business advisory and accounting services under one roof in the South.”
