Infrastructure company John Laing Group has announced CFO Luciana Germinario is standing down from the position, with immediate effect.

Germinario will be leaving the company following a short handover period to ensure an orderly transition.

The company has commenced a search for Germinario’s successor. In this interim period, it said Stuart Colvin, group financial controller, who has been with the business for 16 years, will be undertaking a “key role” in leading the finance function.

Germinario joined the group as chief financial officer designate on 25 April 2019.

In addition, the company is in advanced discussions with Patrick O’D Bourke, previously group finance director of John Laing, who subject to certain consents, will work with the finance team and the board to provide advisory services during this interim period.

John Laing’s chairman, Will Samuel said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Luciana Germinario for her contribution during her time with us and we wish her well for the future.

“We look forward to providing a further update on the company’s progress at our interim results announcement in August.”
