Construction and engineering company NMCN has revealed its CFO Daniel Taylor is to step down from the position by the end of 2020.

The company said Taylor would like to pursue “alternative opportunities, under consideration, in related industries”.

The board has already commenced the search for his replacement, with a view to making an appointment in preparation for the start of the 2021 financial period.

Robert Moyle, chairman of NMCN, said: “Dan has been a significant contributor to the development and growth of the group over the last 7.5 years promoting strategic ideas and implementing new systems and processes.

“He has been heavily involved in guiding the business through the unique situation of dealing with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, as highlighted in our recent AGM trading statement on the 25 June 2020.”

He added: “Everyone in the group and I personally would like to thank him for everything he has done and achieved within the business and wish him every success in his future career.”
