Workflow management company Checkit has announced the appointment of Aylsa Muir as CFO.
It is anticipated that Muir will join the board in September 2020. She succeeds Andy Weatherstone, who will continue to serve on the board until September 2020.
Prior to joining Checkit, Muir held multiple senior positions across multiple finance disciplines and industries including 10 years with Pepsico. Most recently her experience has been with software businesses SD Worx UK Limited and private equity owned IRIS Software Group Limited.
Keith Daley, executive chairman, said: “Aylsa was selected for her strong commercial and operational knowledge alongside her broad Finance skillset having partnered CEO/COOs at the highest levels within software organisations.
“Her knowledge of SaaS pricing models, software businesses and fast-growing tech companies means she is well placed to help lead Checkit through this exciting period.”
He added: “Following the appointment of Aylsa to the board I am pleased to note that the leadership team of Checkit comprising its directors and company secretary will have equal numbers of male and female members.”
