Red Shoes Accounting in Littleport, Cambridgeshire, has announced the appointment of two new recruits and a promotion within the business.

Charlotte Watkinson has joined the company as a trainee accountant, responsible for accounts preparation for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.

With a degree in Business Management, Watkinson started her career as a trainee accountant in 2018 and is studying towards AAT certification with the view to moving on to chartered accountancy.

Lisa Parrin has also joined the team as part-time administrator. She has held a varied career in the Civil Service for almost 33 years, working mainly in the Whitehall area.

To further support the company’s growth, Laura Barrow has been promoted to office manager, and will be responsible for ensuring procedures are “swift and efficient”, streamlining paperwork processes and looking after HR, Health and Safety and administration.

The accountancy firm provides small and medium-sized businesses with services including management accounting, financial planning, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and tax returns.

Red Shoes Accounting’s proprietor, Victoria Cooper, said: “We are delighted to welcome Charlotte and Lisa to the Red Shoes Accounting team and, through her well-deserved promotion, recognise the valuable contribution Laura makes to the business.

“We continue to support the team with their training and nurture the exceptional talent within our business.”
